Moshato , named of the "Moshato" grapes type , is a historical small and friendly city with shallow houses, many green places, beautiful squares
and pedestrian streets, famous for its social and athletic events .
The Municipality of Moshato has provided important works of substructure and offers , through its
information processing systems, several public services , like city planning and banking services.
Besides these, Public Agencies and Formation Centres have been successfully established.
Moshato is very close to the big Attica cities (in a distance of 15 minutes from Athens and 10 minutes from the harbour of Pireas). Most public organisations and banks are located in the centre of the city, together with many kindergartens, schools and a number of traditional associations and athletic organisations. The last years the city has been growing socially and economically very fast, especially in its coastal zone area.
